A memorable identity for Nanaimo’s first cat café that brings two of the best things together — furry friends and warm beverages.

Kelly came to me with a vision to open Nanaimo’s first ever cat café. She was looking for a playful, memorable identity that would match the atmosphere, while also adding some credibility.

The solution was a modular identity design. It pairs vintage inspired type and colour with a modern twist and the result is an absolutely puurrfect logo that can be configured in various different ways.

The heavy, rounded typography nods to the milky nature of the name. The logomark is a simple, round cat in a cup that is itching to be put on just about every paper cup, business card, car wrap and window.
